Quilling my heart AWAY!!!

I've been busy with home life. Being home since May, I would think I'd have more time to do the things I love, but turns out, I love doing NOTHING more. LOL. More stuff to come... but home this batch makes up for some of my MIA blogger life.

This was for a teacher; I did at the end of school.

Elegantly FUN! I wanted to add something fun onto something elegant.

A Wedding card I did. Seems I've been cramming wedding cards all summer.

Another wedding card.

... and another.

... and another.

Another end of school thank you card. I actually loved the outcome of this card.

Oh, and I've been working on Thank You cards too.

 Oops. Another wedding card. LOL.

Deepest Apologies...

I can't believe I haven't updated my blog in a lifetime. I was just reminded of that fact recently so I figured I better get with the "blog." During my absence so many things has happened, also being one of the reason for my lack of updates here: I found out we're adding member #6 to the family due in July and then I got into couponing which is fun, exhausting and saves me a load of money grocery shopping than the money I spend papercrafting. Oh and also I got into quilling which is such a fun and unique papercrafting method.

Overall, life became a bit chaotic and I just kind of lost track of time.

Here's a couple quilling things I made recently, also one my crafting buddy made for me (IT'S A BOY!).

More Xmas Cards...

Hopefully it pays off. I've been Xmas card making for the last few weeks, not crazily but maybe one a day. These are a few of the many I've made. Inspiration is the name, creativity is the game! Enjoy!

My naughty penguins having a blast.
I used the Cricut cartridge Zooballoo "P"
to get these most adorable bundle of cuteness.

The rose was from McGill paper blossom.
Papers from Bazzill and creativity was from me,
yours truly! Seasons Greetings!

The stamp, I had bought last year from a scrap fair.
I heat embossed in white on black, did the same on
another and cut out the tree and moon to layer on here
for a 3D effect (I don't think you can see it here).
I really love this one. Very simple and elegant.
These uses the 2 smaller petals, however, shaped differently.
Another paper blossom flower, this time the beautiful
poinsettia, some lace and tear edged effect brings out
an elegance in this card.
